Well not much has gone on this week except going to class and doing a little homework. I have been in contact with Gabriela, my distant cousin in Sweden and we are trying to make plans for me to visit and stay with her. Its looking good so far. I picked my classes for winter term at Union and boy is it going to be a tough winter term. I am thinking of taking 3 labs and a masters course for my minor, crazy. We experienced the first snow fall of the season last night....at 5am. About twenty of us went to a new club called Mecca to check it out. It was a really fun scene. Upstairs was techno craziness and in the bottom floor there was 80's and 90's pop so were heard tons of Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys, Madonna, Bon Jovi, and many many others. Basically it was a good ol' American dance party. We didn't realize the time becasue of the great music but didn't leave the club until 4:30am. We walked to the metro station in the freezing cold (VERY dumb idea, I know) which was about a ten minute walk and waited for the 5am metro. When we got off at our stop it was snowing!!! No accumulation but it pretty much snowed all day today. Due to the very late night last night Angela and I had a quiet evening where we attempted to make cookies which turned into large pancakes on a fry pan. We only had flour, sugar packets, an egg, and some milk and salt, oh and M&M's. It was a very interesting and improvisational snack but turned out okay. We ate our pancake cookie things while watching the Goonies. Very satisfying. Tomorrow we have no class and are planning on getting up at a decent hour (10am) going to the gym and then going to go shopping at the outlets. Well I am off to get a little bit of homework done!
